Donald F. Kuratko
The Jack M. Gill Chair of Entrepreneurship, Indiana University, Bloomington
Dr Kuratko is considered a prominent scholar and national leader in the field of entrepreneurship. He has authored over 150 articles on aspects of entrepreneurship, new venture development, and corporate entrepreneurship. His work has been published in journals such as Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Executive, Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Small Business Management, Journal of Small Business Strategy, and Family Business Review. Dr. Kuratko has authored over 20 books, including the leading entrepreneurship book in American universities today, Entrepreneurship: Theory, Process, Practice, 6th ed. (South-Western/Thomson Publishers, 2004), as well as Strategic Entrepreneurial Growth, 2nd ed. (South-Western/Thomson Publishers, 2004), Corporate Entrepreneurship (South-Western/Thomson Publishers, 2002), The Human Resource Function in Emerging Enterprises, (South-Western/Thomson Publishers, 2002), Effective Small Business Management, 7th ed. (Wiley & Sons Publishers, 2001), and Entrepreneurial Strategy (Dryden Press/Harcourt Brace & Co., 1994). In addition, Dr. Kuratko has been consultant on Corporate Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Strategies to a number of major corporations such as Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield, AT&T, United Technologies, Ameritech, The Associated Group (Acordia), Union Carbide Corporation, ServiceMaster and TruServ.
Previously he held the Stoops Distinguished Professorship of Entrepreneurship and was the Founding Director of the Entrepreneurship Program at Ball State University. Dr. Kuratko was a recipient of Ball State University's four major lifetime awards which include: Outstanding Young Faculty (1987); Outstanding Teaching Award (1990); Outstanding Faculty Award (1996); and Outstanding Researcher Award (1999). He has also been honored with The George Washington Medal of Honor (1987); the Leavey Foundation Award for Excellence in Private Enterprise (1988) and the National Model Innovative Pedagogy Award for Entrepreneurship (2001). Dr. Kuratko was named the Entrepreneur of the Year for the state of Indiana (sponsored by Ernst & Young, Inc. magazine, and Merrill Lynch) and was inducted into the Institute of American Entrepreneurs Hall of Fame (1990). In addition, Dr. Kuratko was named the National Outstanding Entrepreneurship Educator for 1993 (by the U.S. Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship). In 2000, he was honored with the Thomas W. Binford Memorial Award for Outstanding Contribution to Entrepreneurial Development by the Indiana Health Industry Forum. Dr. Kuratko has been named a 21st Century Entrepreneurship Research Fellow by the National Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers (2001), as well as the U.S. Association for Small Business & Entrepreneurship Scholar for Corporate Entrepreneurship (2003). Finally, he was honored by his peers in Entrepreneur magazine as the #1 Entrepreneurship Program Director in the nation (2003).

Professor Allan Gibb is former Professor of Small Business Management and Chairman of the Foundation for Small and Medium Enterprise Development at Durham University in the UK. The Foundation, formerly the Small Business Centre, has an international reputation for its work in the field of enterprise, entrepreneurship and small business management development. The original Centre, was set up by Professor Gibb in 1971, and became the largest of its kind in Europe. Its major focus is upon research-based approaches to solving policy and process problems of managing small businesses and the small business stakeholder environment and which translate into practice. These are frequently developed into teaching and consultancy programmes subsequently disseminated nationally and internationally.

Lisa Gundry teaches courses in Entrepreneurship New Venture Management and Creativity in Business. She helped design the Charles H. Kellstadt's Graduate School of Business award winning Entrepreneurship program. Dr. Gundry has co-authored "Blueprints for Innovation," published by the American Management Association. She has researched creative best practices in many organizations, and is a frequent speaker to executive groups and corporations on creativity and innovation. In 1997, she won the Innovation in Business Education award by the Mid-Continent East Association of AACSB. In 1994, Dr. Gundry was given the Excellence in Teaching Award by DePaul University's Quality of Instruction Council.

Andrew Corbett

Professor Corbett teaches across the portfolio of entrepreneurship and strategy courses both to undergraduates and MBAs.
He has been recognized for his excellence in teaching on numerous occasions. In
2006, Professor Corbett was presented with an award for Outstanding Curriculum
Development by the Lally School. He was awarded the 2005 McGraw-Hill Innovation
in Entrepreneurship Pedagogy Award by the Academy of Management for his
development and delivery of entrepreneurship courses. In 2004, he was named
Outstanding Teacher of the Year by the Lally School’s MBA Class.
Professor Corbett is a primary instructor and curriculum developer for Rensselaer’s “adVentures in Entrepreneurship” freshman orientation program and he is the faculty advisor to the Tech Valley Collegiate Business Plan Competition.
His research has appeared in the Journal of Business Venturing; Entrepreneurship: Theory & Practice; Management Communications Quarterly; The Journal of Small Business Management; and Academy of Management Best Papers. Professor Corbett’s scholarship has been presented around the globe at all of the top strategic management and entrepreneurship conferences.
Professor Corbett was recently invited to join the editorial board of Entrepreneurship: Theory & Practice and he has been a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Management Studies since 2003.
